Job description

Overview: nstructor, Instructional Systems Design, and Subject Matter Expert support to an organization committed to ensuring the quality and integrity of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) training in the fields of Intelligence Analysis, Signals Analysis, Collection Management, Cryptanalysis, Mathematics, and/or Oversight and Compliance. There is a continuing requirement to provide ongoing technical skills development and enhancement to improve the analytic workforce which is crucial to the success of far-reaching and complex national defense security missions. This includes teaching the principles and exploitation of new technologies, training on the capabilities and optimized use of transformational tools, testing and migration of new analytic methods, tradecraft, and techniques, and ensuring learning in a variety of modalities, to include desktop/platform instruction and in-person engagement around the globe. The Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Cyber Discovery courses offered vary in complexity, duration, and frequency but must be delivered on-site, virtually, or by contracted instructors in conjunction with military and government civilian personnel. Salary at LG-TEK is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $80,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of LG-TEK’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from Posting Date. Responsibilities: The three primary responsibilities may include: 1) Platform Instruction, 2) Course Design, Development, and Maintenance, and/or 3) Subject Matter Expertise (SME)/Tutoring. Platform Instruction - Instructors conduct course instruction by applying adult learning principles, theories, and practices, including formal platform and e-classes, hands-on tutoring, Adaptive Learning, interactive exercises and include Blended Learning approaches. Course instruction and delivery is performed in a manner reflecting the highest standards of the adult education profession and supports learning solutions consistent with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction (DoDI) 3305.09. Instructors tie together course modules, learning materials, and hands-on activities during class instruction in order to facilitate student interactions that allows students to contribute their unique knowledge and perspectives to the learning experience. Course Design and Development - Instructors work in conjunction with Government instructional system developers, adjunct faculty, and subject matter experts to develop and design course content and learning materials that pertain to required technical subject areas. Bloom's Taxonomy and Instructional Systems Design (ISD) frameworks (e.g, ADDIE, SAM, AGILE, etc) are consistently used in the maintenance of existing courses and/or the design of new course offerings. Subject Matter Expertise/Tutoring - Instructors provide hands-on tutoring to analysts in required Technical Subject Areas. Hands-on tutoring consists of additional one-to-one training sessions for each course and virtual training support to include resolving technical course content issues and responding to student questions. The one-to-one tutoring sessions take place either in the analyst’s mission spaces or virtually. During these sessions, the Instructor works directly with the analyst to ensure they know how to be compliant when using SIGINT analytic tools and computer interfaces to perform various SIGINT functions, as well as applying tradecraft learned in class. Also, Instructors participate in quarterly SME/Tutoring seminars, working groups, or analyst-to-analyst exchanges that consist of discussion-based experientials to enable students to improve their knowledge and understanding of a relevant Signals Intelligence Analysis topic. Qualifications: Required: - Minimum Top Secret Security Clearance with at least a Counter-Intelligence (CI) polygraph is required - Three (3) years or thirty-six (36) months of relevant SIGINT experience in one or more of the following technical skill/areas of expertise is required: ANSK - Analytic Skills
CRSK - Cryptologic Skills
DATA - Data Science
GISA - Geographic Information and Spatial Analysis
NETA - Network Exploitation Target Analysis
RPTG - SIGINT Reporting Highly-Desired Skills and/or Experience: - Previous Adjunct Faculty certification
- Military service component Master Instructor certification
- Advanced education and/or certifications in training-related fields
- Experience ensuring digital content and systems meet Section 508 accessibility standards for individuals with disabilities, including familiarity with ICT Fundamental Accessibility Requirements. Minimum Clearance Level Required: TS/SCI w/CI Polygraph
