Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental and emotional well-being through interviews and standardized tools to inform evidence-based treatment planning.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to establish tailored treatment plans that address their specific issues, goals, and preferences, reviewing and adjusting plans as necessary based on progress.
  • Deliver individual therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques designed to improve mental health across diverse client backgrounds.
  • Facilitate couples therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and reinforcing relationship dynamics.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care to clients, ensuring coordinated treatment strategies.
  • Respond effectively to clients in crisis situations, providing immediate support and interventions to stabilize acute distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with strategies tailored to specific client needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven experience in working with children, teens, and adult populations, employing a range of therapeutic approaches.
