As a member of our outpatient team, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds in the comfort of their own spaces. The role includes utilizing telehealth platforms to maintain secure and confidential therapy sessions, ensuring the highest standards of care delivery. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and emotional needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of clients’ issues, goals, and preferences.
• Deliver high-quality individual therapy sessions to a diverse range of clients and concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.
• Facilitate couples therapy sessions that foster communication, conflict resolution, and relationship strengthening.
• Continuously review and modify treatment plans to align with clients' evolving needs and progress.
• Maintain meticulous and organized client records, ensuring timely documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and session summaries.
• Engage in collaborative care with other healthcare professionals to provide well-rounded support for clients.
• Prepare to deliver crisis intervention to clients in acute distress, with a focus on safety and effective response.
• Commit to staying informed about the latest developments and evidence-based techniques in marriage and family therapy.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions and professional development activities to enhance your skills and therapeutic practices.
• Adhere to strict ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality for all client interactions.
• Advocate for clients’ rights and well-being, empowering them to take an active role in their therapeutic journeys.
• Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes self-care practices for clients while prioritizing your own well-being to prevent burnout.
• Champion the positive representation of Retreat Psychotherapy Services through all professional interactions.

In this role, you will cater to a diverse clientele, including teens, adults, and couples seeking support with various mental health challenges. You will have the opportunity to work with individuals from multiple backgrounds, addressing an array of emotional and psychological issues while fostering resilience and personal growth.

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field is essential.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is required for consideration.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy is necessary.
• Experience working with both children and adult clients is preferred.
• Strong skills in completing client assessments and treatment documents promptly and accurately.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, with proficiency in managing electronic health record systems.

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with crisis management and intervention strategies will be beneficial in this role.
• Collaboration with other mental health professionals and community resources will enhance client care.
