Join Booker T. to pack 700 bags of food for our neighbors in celebration of Juneteenth!

Help us pack 700 grocery bags for Fillmore Juneteenth! We’re distributing bags to our community filled with the ingredients to make red beans and rice. Volunteer with us to put these kits together so we can give our neighbors nourishing food during Juneteenth festivities.

About Booker T.’s Food to Freedom Program

Booker T.'s Black-Led, Black Fed Food to Freedom Program provides an array of weekly, free culturally-appropriate and quality food services to the Fillmore and Western Addition community through a Black lens.

About Booker T. Washington Community Service Center

Booker T. is the oldest Black-led and serving community-based organization that in San Francisco. We’ve been nourishing the historic Fillmore and Western Addition community for over 106 years. We offer a full spectrum of culturally-responsive programs to address the holistic needs of youth, teen/TAY, families, older adults and the community at-large. Our 72,000 sq. ft. building is home to permanent, supportive, affordable housing for youth coming out of the foster care system, and low-income families and seniors, a gymnasium, classrooms, recording studio, a preschool, playgrounds, and a rooftop garden.
