This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere within Nevada while using telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. Our virtual environment fosters collaboration among a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients. All required technology and training for telehealth services will be provided, and we support our counselors with administrative tasks to help maintain a manageable workload.

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Teens Advocate Program & Mental Counseling, you will:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop personalized treatment plans for clients facing various mental health challenges.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, tailored to meet individual client needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions for families, couples, and individuals, promoting healing and communication.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for client privacy.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices.

Our clientele primarily includes teenagers and young adults who often face unique emotional and social challenges such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and trauma. As an LCPC, you will be instrumental in building trusting relationships with clients, helping them navigate their personal struggles and achieve their mental health goals. To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• An active and unrestricted state license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC).
• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, preferably within a clinical setting.

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly valued:

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care.
• Strong understanding of ethical standards and legal regulations in mental health practice.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms.
