Capgemini is seeking a Business Technology Architect to join our Technology Sector team. This role combines business architecture, technology consulting, and industry expertise to help clients define and execute transformation strategies that drive growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.

As a Business Technology Architect, you will work closely with business leaders, technology stakeholders, and architecture teams to align business goals with technology investments and transformation initiatives. You will support the development of business capabilities, operating models, technology roadmaps, and enterprise transformation programs that enable clients to adapt and grow in rapidly evolving markets.

You will work with some of the world's most influential technology organizations, including hyperscalers, cloud providers, platform companies, OEMs, semiconductor manufacturers, and emerging technology innovators. These clients operate highly complex ecosystems that require scalable business processes, modern technology platforms, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Business Architects define and structure business strategy, capabilities, services, governance, organizational domains, and key business processes. They align goals and objectives with products, platforms, services, partners, and suppliers to optimize enterprise performance and transformation outcomes. Their focus is on end-to-end value delivery, business operations, and strategic initiatives that connect business objectives to execution.

Business Architects establish and maintain a comprehensive view across business domains, from strategy through implementation. They create capability maps, value streams, operating models, and transformation roadmaps that support operational excellence, business agility, and sustainable growth.

Your Role
  • Facilitate business architecture and capability assessments to identify opportunities for growth, operational improvement, and digital transformation.
  • Define current-state and future-state business capabilities, value streams, organizational models, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align strategic objectives with technology investments and business priorities.
  • Support enterprise transformation initiatives across product development, engineering, supply chain, operations, customer engagement, and platform organizations.
  • Help clients establish scalable business and operating models that support innovation and long-term growth.
  • Support architecture governance activities, business capability mapping, and organizational transformation planning.
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to gather requirements and define business capabilities and future-state operating models.
  • Participate in strategic initiatives across Cloud, Data & AI, Platform Engineering, Digital Products, Customer Experience, and Enterprise Modernization programs.
  • Translate business goals and desired outcomes into actionable business and technology recommendations.
  • Assist in developing business cases, transformation strategies, capability roadmaps, and value realization plans.
  • Support proposal development, client presentations, architecture assessments, and strategic pursuits.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, enterprise architects, and industry specialists to deliver integrated business and technology solutions.

Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in business architecture, enterprise architecture, consulting, business transformation, technology strategy, or related roles.
  • Experience supporting clients within the Technology sector, including hyperscalers, cloud providers, platform companies, OEMs, semiconductor manufacturers, or software organizations.
  • Understanding of business architecture methodologies including capability modeling, value stream mapping, operating model design, and business process transformation.
  • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation, modernization, or technology-enabled business initiatives.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into business capabilities, transformation roadmaps, and technology-enabled solutions.
  • Experience working directly with business and technology stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
  • Knowledge of modern enterprise technologies including Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), Data & Analytics, API-based architectures, Digital Platforms, and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Understanding of product-centric operating models, platform business models, and technology-driven innovation.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading workshops, business assessments, requirements gathering sessions, and process analysis activities.
  • Consulting experience supporting strategy, transformation, operational improvement, or technology modernization initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise and business architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or equivalent methodologies preferred.
  • Experience supporting client proposals, solution development, and business pursuits preferred.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $82,082 - $233,740

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
