Location: West Central Iowa | Relocation Assistance Available
Schedule: Full-Time

In this full-time role, you'll bring your expertise in sterile techniques, human anatomy, and surgical procedures to assist in both therapeutic and diagnostic invasive procedures. Surgical Technologist Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Surgical Procedures: Apply your knowledge of anatomy and surgical processes to support invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Ensure Sterile Technique: Maintain aseptic conditions to prevent infection and protect patient safety during all surgical procedures.
  • Equipment Preparation & Maintenance: Oversee the preparation, setup, and ongoing maintenance of surgical instruments, tools, and technologies used in operations.
  • Support in Multiple Surgical Areas: Assist in the OR, OPS, CS, and other areas where invasive procedures are conducted.
  • On-Call Duties: Take scheduled on-call hours as required by the Director of Surgery to ensure availability when necessary.
  • Collaboration with Surgical Team: Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medical staff to facilitate a smooth and successful surgical process.
Job Requirements
  • Licensure & Certifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • AHA BLS certification required (within 30 days of hire).
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required, or the ability to obtain certification.
  • Skills & Experience:
  • Strong knowledge of surgical anatomy and procedures.
  • Expertise in sterile and aseptic techniques.
  • Proficiency with surgical instruments and technologies.
  • Experience assisting with invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
  • Ability to remain composed in high-pressure environments.
