To thrive as a Technology Trainer, you need expertise in instructional design, subject-matter knowledge of relevant technologies, and experience in adult learning principles, often supported by a degree in education, IT, or a related field. Familiarity with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and certification in instructional technologies such as CompTIA CTT+ is typically required. What is technology training?

Technology training refers to instructional programs and activities designed to teach individuals or groups how to effectively use various technologies, such as software, hardware, digital tools, and systems. This training can range from basic computer skills to advanced IT certifications and is often tailored to the needs of a specific organization or industry.
