As part of our continuing growth in this high technology market, Teledyne Digital Imaging is recruiting for a Facilities and Infrastructure Project Manager in Waterloo !

The Facilities and Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible to overseeing the facilities group, and driving projects from conception to completion, involving they physical site structures and supporting infrastructure. The scope of the F&I PM role extends to encompass the site roadmap and the development of strategies pertaining to the evolution of the site, meeting current and future needs. It is also the responsibility of this individual to ensure site compliance to applicable regulations.

What You Will Do

  • Manage structural and infrastructure projects for DDI operations

  • Develop, implement and continue to refine DDI Waterloo facility roadmap

  • Coordinate internal and external resources for structural/infrastructure projects

  • Consolidate, prioritize and champion requests pertaining to structural/infrastructure changes

  • Maintain site plans, and collaborate with key stakeholders to evolve and improve process layouts

  • Lead the facilities team, ensuring continued operations

  • Drive projects to decrease site resource consumption (electrical, water, and fuel)

  • Ensure infrastructure (HVAC and Humidification) is able to maintain correct work environment

  • Monitor resource consumption and calculate carbon emissions for corporate reporting

  • Work with the EHS specialist to benchmark and monitor waste streams to develop and execute upon the waste reduction program

  • Respond to external (governmental) and internal (engineering, support, quality) queries, as required

  • Prepare and present reports and presentations communicating key goals, objectives and changes to management and staff

  • Ensure applicable governmental compliance and provide reporting to Corporate Maintain a general site presence

  • Address day-to-day facility and infrastructure needs of the organization

What You Need

  • Two to five years of project management experience

  • Two to five years of people management experience

  • Diploma/Degree in supporting field

  • Experience 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role

  • Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised for the majority of the time

Other Requirements / skills

  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently, in a team environment or in a leadership role

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of building systems (i.e. HVAC, electrical, structural, etc.)

  • Ability to multitask

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Desire to innovate and drive change
