Job description

Position Summary
The IT Project Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the organization's wealth management division by analyzing business processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and facilitating the implementation of solutions to enhance client experience and operational efficiency. This position serves as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
This role can be based out of St. Louis, MO or Boston, MA. It will be hybrid with 3 days/week onsite.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead projects from the IT Program Management Office (PMO) portfolio of projects, follow governance frameworks, enforce standards and best practices.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and provide exceptional reporting to stakeholders and Executive management.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage project team members, ensuring clear communication and timely completion of tasks.
  • Ensure quality standards and best practices are met in all project deliverables.
  • Conduct project retrospectives and create detailed reports for management and clients.
  • Manage relationships with internal clients, vendors, and all relevant stakeholders.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide guidance to teams for optimal performance.
  • Drive execution on complex, cross-functional IT programs, ensuring workstream alignment, budget adherence, and delivery excellence.
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define program objectives, success criteria, and resource plans.
  • Implement and maintain portfolio-level dashboards, KPIs, and reporting to provide transparency to executive stakeholders.
  • Manage risk, issue resolution, change control, and key stakeholder reporting across all key initiatives.
  • Manage high-performing team of project managers, develop talent into high performing teams and foster a culture of accountability and execution.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field (Master's degree helpful).
  • Proven experience as a project manager, ideally in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Asana).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Proven track record of engagement in large, enterprise-wide technology programs (e.g., ERP implementations, cloud migrations, digital transformation).
Preferred Skills and Attributes
  • Preferences for individuals that have recent working knowledge of Asana, Addepar, Orion, InvestCloud, and Salesforce
  • Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Adaptability to evolving project requirements and changing business needs.
  • Certification such as Agile, SAFe, or PMP are helpful

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $110,000-$140,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate's experience and education.
