Responsibilities:
Tetra Tech is seeking a professional, motivated, and intelligent Sr. Project Manager/Water Resource Engineer to provide leadership in the field of water resources management. The position will include developing sustainable water management and planning solutions for existing Federal, State, Municipal, and private clients, as well as marketing new clients. This role will provide expertise with the following:
• Owner's Representative/Program Management
• Capital Improvement Planning
• Asset Management Planning
• Water/Wastewater Master Planning
• Smart Utility Programs
• Disaster Recovery and Resilience
• Regulatory Compliance
The position involves business development and project execution with emphasis on client development in both the public and private sectors. The ideal candidate will have established relationships and a desire to grow the business through deliberate marketing initiatives, production of high-quality work products, and application of strategic solutions for clients.
The candidate will:
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Support additional duties, as required.
The salary range for this position is $215,000-245,000. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including, but not limited to geographic location, qualifications, licensures, certifications, experience, and other skills relevant to the needs of the business. Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration is required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience supporting or leading capture planning and preparing proposals is required.
• Experience managing water resource planning studies and engineering is required.
• Knowledge of water resource, watershed, and water quality models is strongly preferred.
• Candidates must be comfortable using Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel, and Teams.
This position requires the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.
