Job description

REQUIRED SKILLS

•            Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Project Management, or a related field.

•            10+ years in IT project management with a focus on Data and Analytics projects.

•      Prior experience leading end-to-end project management for data and analytics initiatives, including scoping, planning & analysis, execution (incl testing), monitoring, and closure.

•      Prior experience creating work breakdown structures with milestones and dependencies so that the critical path is identified and tracked.

·       Advanced problem solving and decision-making skills: Ability to analyze problems, identify solutions, and make sound decisions.

•            Ability to oversee the design, development, and deployment of data architecture, databases, and analytics solutions leveraging Azure Cloud Data Lake, Databricks, and related tools.

•            Ability to inspire and motivate project teams, foster collaboration and resolve conflicts. Manage project team in a Matrix organization.

·       Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and requirements.

•            Budget Oversight: prior experience managing project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation while achieving desired financial outcomes.

•            Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

·       Advanced written and oral communication skills with proven ability to deliver clear messages, set expectations, and build relationships with all groups, even when delivering a tough message.

•            Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a proven ability to communicate within complex projects and across diverse teams.

•            Strong familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project management methodologies.

•            Prior experience as a Scrum Master.

•            Strong proficiency in MS Project and similar project management tools

•            Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint).

•            Proficiency with other agile work management tools such as Azure Dev Ops (ADO), JIRA etc.

·       Experience developing useful project metrics and applying those metrics

Nice to have skills:

•            SCRUM certified preferred

•            PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
