Technical Program Manager -Banking, Wealth Management & Digital Assets
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead complex technology initiatives across banking, wealth management, capital markets, and digital assets. This role will bridge business, product, engineering, architecture, compliance, and operations teams to drive large-scale programs from strategy and ideation through execution and production rollout.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of technology program management or technology consulting experience, including significant experience within banking, wealth management, capital markets, or asset management. Strong knowledge of financial products, banking operations, wealth management platforms, and enterprise technology environments is required, with experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, tokenization, or crypto custody highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs from planning through implementation and production.
  • Develop program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, and success metrics.
  • Manage multiple workstreams across engineering, product, architecture, compliance, operations, and business teams.
  • Drive delivery of solutions across wealth management, private banking, investment advisory, portfolio management, trading, brokerage, asset servicing, and client onboarding/KYC.
  • Lead digital asset initiatives involving crypto custody, digital wallets, tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain settlement, crypto trading, staking, and digital asset servicing.
  • Partner with security, legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure programs meet regulatory and control requirements.
  • Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering.
  • Drive Agile/SAFe delivery practices, program governance, risk management, and executive reporting.
  • Support modernization of legacy banking and wealth management platforms and enterprise integrations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in Technology Program Management, Product Delivery, or Technology Consulting.
  • 5+ years of experience within Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, or Asset Management.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale, enterprise technology programs.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management platforms, investment products, securities lifecycle, portfolio management, and banking operations.
  • Experience working with distributed teams and senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, strategic thinking, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain, Web3, or tokenization initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, smart contracts, DeFi, and digital asset custody models.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements impacting digital assets and financial services.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience working with financial institutions, investment banks, wealth managers, or fintech organizations.
