Position Overview: Program Control Manager - Enrichment Operations
As our Program Control Manager, you will play a central role in supporting the planning, execution, and performance management of projects within BWXT's Enrichment Operations. You will develop and maintain project schedules, cost models, forecasts, and performance indicators to ensure visibility into project status and alignment with organizational goals. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, and project management teams-helping drive data-based decision-making and excellence across our project portfolio.

Your Day-to-Day as a Program Control Manager
• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using approved scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Create cost estimates, resource-loaded schedules, forecasts, and other planning tools to support project execution.
• Perform cost and schedule variance analysis; develop performance dashboards, reports, and key performance metrics.
• Support integrated baseline development/reviews and maintain ongoing baseline integrity.
• Identify risks, trends, and potential impacts to schedule and cost; communicate findings to project leadership.
• Prepare routine and ad hoc project controls reports for project management and senior leadership.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, supply chain, production, finance, and other departments to validate project status and performance.
• Support change management processes, including cost and schedule impact assessments.
• Ensure all project controls activities comply with internal procedures and DOE project management requirements.
• Assist in long-range planning, budgeting cycles, and prioritization efforts for Enrichment Operations projects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, finance, business, or a related field.
• Two (2) to five (5+) years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or project scheduling.
• Proficiency with project controls and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, cost systems).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining and maintaining a DOE Q clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and operational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Five (5+) years of experience within DOE, nuclear, defense, or other highly regulated industrial environments.
• Advanced proficiency with earned value management (EVM) methodologies and tools.
• Experience developing integrated master schedules and complex cost models.
• Professional certification such as PSP, CCP, EVP, or PMP.
• Familiarity with DOE Orders, project controls requirements, and project management frameworks.

Pay: $99,410 - $157,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $99,410 and $157,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement. The company further reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment, compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and other market factors.
