Job Summary:
QTS Data Centers is a global leader in digital infrastructure, committed to innovation and sustainability. The Technology Product Lead will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of data center delivery through technology and integrated systems, ensuring strategic alignment and operational effectiveness.
Responsibilities:

โ€ข Making priority and scope tradeoffs within defined investment guardrails
โ€ข Owning product outcomes, not just delivery
โ€ข Ensuring clarity and continuity from strategy through execution
โ€ข Shape and evolve product vision and roadmaps aligned to organizational goals and technology strategy
โ€ข Translate business objectives into clear product outcomes, hypotheses, and success measures
โ€ข Align platform capabilities to KPI oriented outcomes such as scalability, reliability, automation, efficiency, and risk reduction
โ€ข Advocate for investments that measurably improve productivity and operational effectiveness
โ€ข Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic outcomes
โ€ข Own product backlogs end-to-end, ensuring work is clearly defined, sequenced, and aligned to outcomes
โ€ข Write and refine epics, features, and user stories as needed โ€” especially for complex, high-impact, or ambiguous work
โ€ข Lead backlog building and ongoing refinement to maintain a healthy, outcome-oriented pipeline of work
โ€ข Partner closely with engineering and architecture to shape solutions, identify dependencies, and surface risks early
โ€ข Validate usefulness and impact of delivered capabilities with internal users and stakeholders
โ€ข Serve as the primary decision-maker for prioritization, sequencing, and scope within your product area
โ€ข Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams
โ€ข Empower teams with clarity of intent while allowing flexibility in how work is delivered
โ€ข Make informed decisions under ambiguity, time pressure, or incomplete information
โ€ข Actively remove obstacles to progress and value delivery
โ€ข Lead or actively participate in key product-focused ceremonies, including backlog refinement and product planning

โ€ข Act as the primary liaison between engineering, architecture, business partners, and leadership
โ€ข Communicate priorities, progress, tradeoffs, and outcomes clearly and consistently
โ€ข Maintain transparency to build trust and alignment across teams and departments
โ€ข Continuously gather feedback and pain points to inform roadmap and backlog decisions
โ€ข Define and track KPIs tied to efficiency, performance, reliability, and business impact
โ€ข Use data and analytics to inform prioritization and validate hypotheses
โ€ข Monitor adoption and outcomes of delivered capabilities
โ€ข Translate results and learning into roadmap and backlog adjustments
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in product management, product leadership, or related roles
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to own outcomes and value realization, not just delivery or backlog management
โ€ข Proven experience making priority and scope tradeoffs in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
โ€ข Experience operating in highly cross-functional domains, translating business and operational needs into product capabilities
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work across multiple interconnected systems and platforms, driving clarity in complex environments
โ€ข Experience partnering closely with engineering, architecture, and operational stakeholders
โ€ข Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments while maintaining forward progress
โ€ข Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
โ€ข Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences

โ€ข Experience working with or adjacent to platforms that support large-scale infrastructure delivery and operations is highly valuable, including: Construction & Project Lifecycle Management: eBuilder, Procore, Primavera P6, Oracle Aconex
โ€ข ERP & Financial Systems: Oracle Fusion, Workday Financials, capital project accounting systems
โ€ข Asset, Capacity & Infrastructure Management: ServiceNow, asset lifecycle platforms, capacity planning tools
โ€ข Data & Integration Platforms: Snowflake, enterprise data platforms, API/integration layers (e.g., MuleSoft)
โ€ข Operational & Monitoring Systems: telemetry platforms, infrastructure monitoring, or DCIM-adjacent solutions
โ€ข Experience in organizations transitioning from project-centric to product-centric models
โ€ข Familiarity with agile and lean product practices in enterprise environments
