IT Manager Join APS

APS is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead our Information Technology operations. This position is responsible for managing the organization's technology infrastructure, supporting business-critical systems, overseeing cybersecurity initiatives, and leading IT projects that support daily operations and continued organizational growth.

Position Summary

The IT Manager oversees all aspects of APS's technology infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and available to support daily operations. This individual will lead the IT team, manage vendors, implement new technologies, and drive continuous improvements across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the organization's servers, networks, hardware, software, and technology infrastructure.
  • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all IT systems.
  • Manage system installations, upgrades, maintenance, and software deployments.
  • Monitor and maintain software licensing and IT asset inventory.
  • Supervise and mentor IT team members by assigning projects, providing coaching, and supporting professional development.
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity policies while monitoring systems for security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee technical support operations to ensure timely resolution of user issues.
  • Develop and improve IT processes, workflows, and operational procedures.
  • Lead technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party technology partners.
  • Assist with IT budgeting, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business operations.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of IT leadership or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Network infrastructure
    • Systems administration
    • Cybersecurity best practices
    • Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, pharmacy, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with vendor management and IT budgeting.
  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Experience supporting enterprise software and technology integrations.
