The Urbana Country Club is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as the Information Technology Manager. We are seeking an individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence to oversee and enhance our IT systems, ensuring seamless operations for our members and staff.

Core Work Activities
System Administration:

  • Monitors, acquires, and maintains property-based IT systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Manages computer and network operations, including backups, recovery, and hardware/software administration.
  • Oversees email systems, IT inventories, and network infrastructure (e.g., Unifi).

User Support & Communication:

  • Provides technical support for internet, hardware, software, and applications.
  • Communicates system updates, tips, and alerts to staff.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

  • Inspects, maintains, and repairs IT equipment and systems.
  • Analyzes data to identify and resolve issues.

Goals & Responsibilities

  • Assesses IT needs, ensuring compliance with standards and budget.

  • System-related professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
