Job description

Reedsburg Area Medical Center is looking for an IT Security Analyst to help safeguard our technology, support innovative security solutions, and play a key role in protecting the information that keeps our organization running.
This position will be 100% onsite in Reedsburg,WI.
The position requires U.S. work authorization, and RAMC does not provide employment sponsorship for this position.
Position Summary:
The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, documentation and standards to ensure optimum information security for RAMC. Maintains hardware and software systems related to IT infrastructures. Develop and maintain related solutions, standards and processes. Develop, test and implement security applications. Serves as an expert advisor for major systems, networks, operations and projects by providing innovative approaches and new security technology. Responsible for designing, configuring, deploying and maintaining comprehensive enterprise security infrastructure of all data center equipment. Responsible for reviewing and reporting to the IT Director daily and monthly server and firewall logs and related issues.
Education and Training Required:
Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems or Cybersecurity required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years of security risk identification, mitigation, and remediation, and policy implementation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience reviewing systems for security vulnerabilities using the latest cybersecurity tools.
  • Experience managing Active Directory.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Comprehensive understanding of network services and networks such as TCP/IP.
  • In-depth understanding and practical knowledge of networking systems such as LAN, firewalls, routers and printers.
  • Ability to design, implement and troubleshoot Wi-Fi and security infrastructure.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously from design to implementation.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to other technical team members, and also to staff that do not have a knowledge of networking technical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Windows system administration, virtualization, scripting and automation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange system administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with other people, both individually and in groups by being courteous, polite and friendly at all times.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Frequently use hands on computer and telephone.
  • Frequently use fine motor skills for operation of computer/keyboard/mouse.
