Position Summary

The OneStream Quality Assurance Analyst supports the OneStream implementation by helping verify that configured functionality works as intended before release and that defects are identified, documented, and resolved before they affect agency operations. This role supports test planning, test execution, defect tracking, regression testing, and user test readiness across unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing. The position works closely with developers, functional analysts, business users, and client stakeholders to ensure the solution supports federal finance processes, reporting requirements, downstream integrations, and deployment readiness in a controlled GPS environment. The implementation schedule specifically emphasizes SIT, UAT, user confirmation testing, documentation handoff, agency certification and validation, and sustainment support, which makes QA a core delivery discipline rather than a back-end check.

Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants and professionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government with strategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support planning for system, integration, and user acceptance testing based on project scope, risks, and delivery milestones.

• Create test cases and test scripts from approved business requirements, process flows, control points, and expected system behavior.

• Confirm configured functionality traces to approved functional and technical requirements.

• Execute test cases, record results, and validate expected behavior across finance processes, reports, workflows, and interfaces.

• Log defects, assign severity and priority, route issues to the appropriate owners, and verify fixes after remediation.

• Perform regression testing after changes to confirm existing functionality remains stable.

• Coordinate with developers, functional teams, and business users to clarify defects, expected outcomes, and retest conditions.

• Validate that test data is complete, accurate, and appropriate for the scenarios being tested.

• Confirm end-to-end processing from source data input through system calculations, reporting outputs, reconciliations, and downstream feeds.

• Maintain complete testing records, including execution evidence, defect history, retest results, and sign-off support.

• Help prepare business users for UAT and track resolution of critical issues needed for deployment readiness.

• Support hyper care and early production validation to confirm the solution remains stable after go-live.

Required Qualifications

• Experience supporting QA, testing, or validation activities for OneStream, ERP, EPM, or other enterprise financial systems.

• Familiarity with testing lifecycle disciplines, including test planning, script development, execution, defect management, regression testing, and sign-off support.

• Ability to translate requirements, business processes, and control expectations into structured test cases.

• Experience validating end-to-end business processes, reports, calculations, and system integrations.

• Strong defect triage, issue documentation, and root-cause coordination skills.

• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, deployment readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate test evidence, logs, and support documentation.

• Ability to work effectively across agency stakeholders, finance users, technical teams, and implementation resources.

• Understanding of federal finance reporting and reconciliation sensitivity is preferred, especially where testing affects certification, validation, and downstream reporting.

• DoD Experience a plus
