We’re seeking a midlevel Technology Transactions & Privacy associate to join a cutting-edge practice advising on complex tech deals, IP issues, and emerging technologies—including AI and blockchain—for startups, high-growth companies, and established enterprises.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft and negotiate licensing, technology, and commercial agreements.
  • Advise on IP ownership, licensing structures, and related risk allocation.
  • Support M&A and financing transactions on technology and IP-related aspects.
  • Work on transactions involving AI, blockchain, and other emerging technologies.
  • Counsel startups and emerging companies on development, manufacturing, and product launch issues.


You will likely develop or already have subject-matter focus in one or more of:

  • Enterprise software and cloud services
  • Outsourcing and managed services
  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning
  • Blockchain, fintech, and payment systems
  • Mobile apps, e-commerce, games, and interactive entertainment
  • Digital content and hardware


What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in technology transactions, licensing, commercial/IP work, and/or privacy-related matters.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating complex tech and licensing agreements.
  • Background supporting M&A or financings on tech/IP issues.
  • Experience with AI, blockchain, or other emerging technologies is strongly preferred.
  • Experience at an AmLaw 50 firm (required) and excellent academic credentials.
