Job description

Job Title

In this on-site job role, you will be responsible for managing critical IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, and network equipment.

In addition, you will oversee the implementation and technical support of complex IT projects.

You will provide high-level (tier 3 ticket) troubleshooting and end user collaboration, ensuring that IT solutions align with business objectives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced informational technology professional who enjoys ensuring the smooth update/maintenance and interconnectedness of a wide variety of platforms, applications, and business tools.

The ability to work multiple projects and collaborate while collaborating cross functionally with stakeholders will be key to success in this role.

Qualified Candidates Will Have
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant on-the-job experience in IT analysis, user support, and system/network administration.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, including both on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and VMware vSphere environments.
  • Proven network administration experience.
  • Hands on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks.
  • Experience installing/updating network switches and patches.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and end-users.
  • Proven ability to research new technologies and implement efficient solutions.
  • Experience in documenting procedures and providing technical training to users.
  • Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Experience with cybersecurity practices and tools.
Ideal Candidates Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional certification; CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator Associate, or VMware, or similar
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL.
  • Experience as a successful project leader or key collaborator.
  • Experience in a global or multi-site IT environment.
