Gillman's product capabilities include highly customized electrical cable assemblies and complex multi-branch wire harnesses that can withstand severe operating conditions, in a wide variety of high-reliability applications in the military, medical, and transportation marketplaces. We are headquartered in Rio Rico, Arizona, with additional operations in Nogales, Mexico, Gillman is an ISO9100-registered manufacturer of high-reliability electrical cables and harnesses for military ground vehicles and other ruggedized applications.
Job Overview:
Charles E Gillman Company is currently looking for an IT superstar to be our Administrator, Information Technology in our Rio Rico facility. This position will partner with the Manager, IT and engage in all areas of IT to insure alignment between IT and the operational and strategic goals of the business. The successful candidate must be willing to work independently in a structured, standards driven enterprise while being flexible enough to "do what it takes" to keep the company on track with internal growth as well as continuing to monitor and improve the service and support to our customers. We are looking for an IT professional who is forward thinking, not afraid to recommend improvements to the enterprise - or the standards - for the benefit of the company. This position reports to the Manager of IT.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Manage server, desktop and virtual environments.
  • Maintain and update any computer software and hardware
  • Maintain communication and internet infrastructure and ensure security of systems
  • Provide recommendations on strategic IT planning, budgeting and new technology that would enhance information gathering and company efficiency
  • Manage the implementation and support of any special or ongoing IT projects
  • Stay abreast of technology as it relates to company and industry advancements

Skills and Abilities
  • Previous experience with IT support in a Microsoft environment with local and remote end users.
  • Workstations, Servers, Active Directory, Office 365
  • Knowledgeable in LAN/WAN technology, security, and architecture
  • Experience with virtual server environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to successfully implement process improvements
  • Must be able to work independently without daily supervision
  • Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Professional demeanor
  • 2-3 years experience required
  • Must for US Citizen or Permanent resident for ITAR requirements

Must be willing to work in both the Rio Rico AZ facility and the Nogales Mexico facility
  • This is an onsite position
