Job description

Virginia Water Systems is searching to fill one service technician trainee position immediately for the central Virginia area and all points in between. This is a service technician trainee position. Scope includes servicing, installing, and troubleshooting various types of water filtration systems for commercial, industrial, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and medical applications. Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 pounds up to chest level, working in a crouched or kneeling position, as well as working on a ladder occasionally. Virginia Water Systems will train, but experience in water treatment, plumbing, and/or electrical is preferred.
Applicant must have:
1) Good driving record
2) Willingness to learn a variety of systems
3) Good communication skills
4) Strong adaptability skills
5) Able to work alone with minimal supervision
