ActioNet is seeking a Technical Writer located in Vienna, VA.
Responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into understandable language while ensuring compliance with standards and supporting project teams.
Responsibilities:
  • Assists in the creation, editing, and maintenance of technical documentation and program deliverables, translating complex technical content into clear and concise language.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts, Program Managers, Project Managers, and engineers to develop SOPs, policies, procedures, and documentation for DoD network modernization projects.
  • Ensures compliance with program requirements and corporate standards, maintains configuration control, revises content based on editorial feedback, and generates innovative content and workflow solutions.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator.

Requirements:
  • Degree: Minimum of bachelor's degree in English, Communication, Business Administration, or Technical Writing;
  • Experience: 5 years with BA/BS degree;
  • Commensurate: N/A; degree required;
  • Specific Skills: Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); proficient with graphic tools such as Adobe Illustrator; experience supporting DoD projects, specifically network modernization projects;
