Job description

Brief Overview of Position:
Strategic Operational Solutions (STOPSO) is seeking candidates for the Technical Writer role that serves the organization. This role could be filled both onsite at a Government facility or at a contractor provided facility.

Primary Responsibilities:
The Technical Writer develops and maintains operational documentation, user guides, communications products, SOPs, and knowledge assets supporting all SDOD functions.
Additionally, in this position you will:
  • Develop user documentation and training materials.
  • Draft Service Advisories and internal communications.
  • Update SOPs and process documentation.
  • Support Knowledge Management initiatives.
  • Maintain document version control and repository management.
  • Assist with emergency communications activities.

Qualifications
  • Three (3) years of technical writing experience.
  • Strong written communication and editing capabilities.
