Regional Technical Service Manager - West Territory

Summary:
The Regional Technical Service Manager's (RTSM) primary responsibility is delivering comprehensive technical training sessions to service partner technicians on a monthly basis, managing escalated technical issues, and providing ongoing support to the technical team. In addition, this role will involve direct field support for troubleshooting problem units that require multiple service visits. The RTSM is the technical service ambassador representing RATIONAL USA in a professional manner at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly technical training session at various sites through the region on equipment, warranties, and ensuring that the company's owned inventory is operational and is available.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all escalated technical issues in the region, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Conduct field visits with the Regional Service Provider (RSP) technicians for unresolved unit problems.
  • Collaborate with Regional Service Operations Manager (RSOM) to assess technical knowledge of RSPs,
  • Support sales process stakeholders including end users, equipment dealers, manufacturers' representatives, regional sales managers and directors.

Qualifications:
  • Associate/Bachelor's degree in Electronics from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in technical support or training roles.
  • Experience with commercial foodservice equipment or HVAC.
  • Ability to attend training classes as needed.
  • Role requires frequent ground and/or air travel, including local and distance destinations and possible continuous overnight stays.
  • Required that the RTSM live in the Northeast United States territory and ideally within an hour of a major airport.

Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications and may vary by geographical location. Compensation for this position also includes a bonus. Benefits include access to health, life, and disability insurances partially paid by the employer, paid time off, a 401(K) match, and future profit-share type earnings.
