Job description

Yardi & Technical Systems Analyst
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Corporate - New York
Compensation: $75,000 - $95,000 / year
Description
Stellar Management is seeking a Yardi Systems Analyst to help administer and enhance the Yardi ecosystem that powers our real estate investment and property management platform. Working across our Asset Management, Accounting, and Property Management teams, this role administers Yardi Voyager, improves data workflows, and builds automation that streamlines reporting and operations across a large-scale New York City portfolio. This is a high-visibility, hands-on role with real ownership of the systems that run the firm and a clear path to grow into broader systems and data responsibilities. We welcome candidates who already know Yardi and want to deepen their technical and real estate expertise, and we encourage more experienced applicants to apply.
Key Responsibilities
General Duties/Responsibilities
  • Administer and support Yardi Voyager and related modules across Asset Management, Accounting, and Property Management, including configuration, permissions, and workflow setup.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards (Yardi SSRS / YSR, Power BI, MS Excel) that give leadership clear visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Gather requirements from operating teams and translate them into system configurations, process improvements, and documentation.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and data migrations, including testing, validation, and post go-live review.
  • Develop automation and tooling (scripts, data pipelines, integrations) that reduce manual work in reporting and operations.
  • Maintain data integrity across systems by partnering with Accounting, Finance, and Property Management on reconciliations and controls.
  • Triage and resolve system issues, and serve as the primary liaison between operating teams and Yardi support or third-party vendors.

Growth & Opportunity
  • Direct ownership of the systems that run a large, institutional real estate portfolio
  • Close exposure to Asset Management, Accounting, and Property Management leadership
  • Room to build automation and analytics that measurably improve firm operations
  • A clear path to grow into broader systems and data leadership

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Skills/Abilities
  • One or more years of hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager in a real estate, property management, or accounting environment (required); candidates with more experience are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated experience using Yardi day to day, with exposure to configuration, reports, or end-user support
  • Strong data and analytical skills: SQL, Power BI or comparable BI tools, and advanced Excel
  • Experience gathering business requirements, running UAT, and documenting processes
  • Ability to bridge business and technical teams and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with property management or ERP systems beyond Yardi (MRI, RealPage, AppFolio, Entrata, SiteCompli) a plus
  • Programming and automation skills (Python, VBA, Power Automate) a plus

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field, or equivalent required
  • 1 or more years' of hands-on Yardi Voyager experience required; additional experience welcome

Physical Requirements
  • 5 days on-site required (corporate office)
  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to communicate both on the phone and in person to resolve issues and manage the business.

Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, and 401k
