Wellabe is looking for a Technical Systems Analyst 3 to join our team.   The Technical Systems Analyst 3 serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, applying business, systems, and data analysis to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex business and system challenges. This role evaluates business processes, application functionality, integrations, data flows, and architecture to determine root causes, recommend programming, configuration, process, or architectural changes, and guide stakeholders toward practical, scalable, and sustainable solutions that achieve business objectives.

Core Responsibilities
  • Research, analyze, and resolve complex system issues by evaluating application behavior, integrations, business processes, data flows, logs, specifications, database structures, and system documentation to identify root causes, assess impact and risk, evaluate downstream dependencies, and support effective issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and vendors to diagnose production incidents, recurring issues, and operational challenges; analyze requirements and current-state solutions to identify programming, configuration, integration, process, or architectural changes needed to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and document solution designs, technical requirements, functional specifications, data flows, field mappings, transformations, and business rules; analyze related data structures, interfaces, and system relationships to support accurate requirements, issue resolution, and implementation.

  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions, validate requirements and solution outcomes, and support testing and user acceptance activities to confirm solutions are complete, accurate, testable, aligned with organizational objectives, and meet business needs.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes, systems, architecture, analytical practices, operating standards, and best practices for requirements management, systems analysis, and solution design to reduce technical debt, streamline operations, improve customer experience, and increase organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of policy administration systems (including LifePro) and their processes, distribution channel workflows and their needs, and product lifecycle and configuration, with the ability to integrate these views to solve moderately complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in teams of technical and highly non-technical individuals.
  • 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in systems analysis, application support, solution design, integrations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience independently leading complex analysis or solution-design work is expected.

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, business analysis, business administration, or a related field.
  • Combination of education and/or relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Benefits
