About the Role
Do you enjoy building relationships, developing talent pipelines, and driving real workforce impact across your region? Do you have a strong understanding of automotive dealership or interest?
As a Regional Technical Placement, you'll take ownership of developing technician talent pipelines by working directly with dealerships, schools, and community partners. You'll spend your time in the field, traveling extensively throughout your region, while connecting with dealership leaders, identifying talent, and guiding candidates through training programs into long-term career opportunities. From leading recruiting events to mentoring technicians and advising dealership teams on workforce strategy, your work will directly impact hiring success and overall dealership performance.

Responsibilities
What You'll Get to Do
  • Partner with dealerships, schools, and regional teams to support technician recruiting and development initiatives
  • Build relationships with vocational schools, community organizations, and industry partners to identify future technician talent
  • Guide dealerships on technician recruiting strategies, workforce planning, and retention best practices
  • Support technician trainees through mentorship, career planning, and training progress reviews
  • Coordinate recruiting events, career fairs, and community outreach programs
  • Track program activity, technician progress, and key performance metrics through CRM systems

Qualifications
What You Need
Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, education, workforce development, automotive operations, or a related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to present information effectively to both individuals and groups
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with vocational, technical, or educational programs
  • Automotive dealership, fixed operations, or aftermarket industry experience
