Job Description:

Northstate Surgical Devices LLC is an independent distributor specializing in selling hardware and biologics to neurosurgeons and orthopedic spine surgeons. We have an experienced team of sales representatives, most with over 5 years of experience in the operating room environment. Additionally, we have an Office Manager to assist with training and everyday administrative needs. We work in a variety of hospitals across North Carolina and we take pride in partnering with several implant manufacturers, allowing us to fulfill the needs of each surgeon and customer. Northstate Surgical Devices (NSSD) is solely owned and operated by Tricia Coppedge and was founded in 2008.


We are looking for an Associate Sales Representative for the Raleigh/Durham area that will be asked to travel and assist across NC. Areas include, but are not limited to: Raleigh/Durham, Pinehurst, and Asheville. You will be expected to promote the NSSD culture while in the OR, Health Care Provider (HCP) offices, and clinics. You will be expected to work alongside spine surgeons, nurses, surgical technicians, sterile processing staff, and clinical office members. You will provide and educate them on spinal implants, biologics, and durable medical equipment. While supporting teammates and assisting in the growth of NSSD, you will be provided the encouragement and training needed to advance your career.

What Your Responsibilities Will Include (but not limited to):

•    Educate and inform HCPs the proper use and maintenance of products supplied by NSSD (functions, changes/updates, sterilization)

•    Develop an in-depth knowledge of products NSSD carries, as well as our competitors

•    Assist all NSSD team members with instrument logistics, sterilizing supplies, and prepping for surgeries

•    Assess HCP needs and present products accordingly

•    Be able to assist with hospital billing, trouble shooting, and technical support, during and after surgical cases

•    Maintain and grow business across North Carolina

•    Grow current relationships, generate leads, and cold call prospective HCPs

•    Daily studying outside of typical work hours

•    4-year bachelor's degree preferred

•    Ability to work in an unpredictable daily schedule, including on call and weekend hours
