Job Description The Lincoln Group has partnered with a client in the coal mining industry, in search of a Mine Engineer Manager to join their team in Utah. Type of Hire: Direct Hire Title: Mine Engineer Manager Location: Utah Work Schedule: Day Shift Compensation: $135,000- $155,000 PRINCIPAL DUTIES: Develop or approve the Engineering Scope of Services and Work, ensuring project objectives are achieved. Manage engineering components of the Project Management Plan (PMP) and Procedures, assisting the Project Manager with timely preparation and implementation.

Authorize design criteria and engineering standards through the Project Manager. Define and ensure adherence to Project Design Basis and Principal Design Documents. Oversee Engineering Work Breakdown Structure (EWBS) and Work Packages, contributing to the overall Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).

Approve engineering design and cost budgets. Review and approve work plans, schedules, and engineering documentation. Ensure engineering work complies with HSSE standards, risk management, and the Quality Management System (QMS).

Ensure up-to-date permits, licenses, and regulatory approvals. Prevent the use of outdated documents. Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality and accuracy standards.

Track technical progress and productivity, and implement corrective actions as needed. Report issues to the Project Manager and contribute to project logs and instructions. Manage the Level 3 and Level 4 engineering schedules, and oversee fieldwork and cross-discipline coordination.

Delegate procurement tasks to engineering staff and manage procurement processes. Approve vendor documentation and coordinate procurement and contract technical packages. Maintain communication protocols across Wood offices and provide technical support to construction teams.

Organize and lead design reviews, chair meetings, and prepare progress reports. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution. Over 10 years of experience in multi-disciplinary engineering and management within a consulting environment, with a focus on the mining, minerals, or metals sectors.

Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification. Strong grasp of engineering management, quality control, human resources, financial, and administrative practices. Proven leadership skills with a knack for building relationships and effective delegation

Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, organization, motivation, team dynamics, problem-solving, and conflict resolution. Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation abilities. Innovative mindset with the ability to engage both internal and external stakeholders.
