Position Summary:
The Technical Recruiter supports the execution of the company's recruiting strategy by managing candidate flow, conducting initial resume reviews and virtual interviews, and coordinating closely with recruiters and hiring Directors to meet workforce needs. This role plays a key part in delivering a professional and engaging candidate experience while maintaining accurate data, reporting, and applicant tracking systems. The Associate Recruiter also assists with career fairs, onsite tours, and community outreach efforts, serving as a visible and positive representative of the organization.
Note: This is not an entry-level position. Recruiting, sales, or program coordination experience is required, compensation aligns with the scope of responsibility. Technical skills or experience with construction, electrical, or the trades is preferred.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Essential Functions - Other Duties May Be Assigned.
  • Support the execution of the recruiting strategy in partnership with the HR Director and Recruiters to attract, engage, and hire qualified talent.
  • Assist in developing and posting job advertisements across social media, the company website, job boards, and other sourcing platforms in coordination with Marketing.
  • Accurately assess candidates for cultural, competency, and skill fit, quickly synthesizes candidate and hiring managers feedback and routinely pre-closes candidates to ensure high acceptance rates.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers; ensure timely communication and follow-up.
  • Compile and summarize candidate feedback for Recruiters and hiring managers to support hiring decisions.
  • Schedule interviews with candidates to discuss and evaluate their background, experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Participate in job fairs, plant tours, conferences, on-campus and other special hiring events.

Other Essential Duties
• Assists Recruiting team in responding to questions and issues regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Contributes to the development of the recruiting strategic objectives and assists in the execution of the resulting plans and objectives.
• Comply with ISO 9001 requirements.

Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Associate Degree plus two to three years of recruiting or program building experience in a multiple location environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • General understanding of employment law, including FMLA, WARN, OSHA, FLSA, and other applicable state and federal laws.
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office software, ATS systems generally, and general technical savvy.
  • Demonstrated people management skills with an ability to proactively address future needs.
  • Ability to present and speak to diverse audiences and potential candidates.
  • Demonstrates a thorough understanding of business culture and how it contributes to effective recruiting and talent development strategies.
  • Strong background in recruiting & sales.
  • Able to work efficiently with a cross-functional team, managing multiple projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish Preferred

Work Schedule: Must be able to work a 40-hour work week and additional time as required.
