Compensation: $48.24/hour |Per Diem: $4,515|Hourly W2 Full Time|OT after 40 hours| Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental |

Position Overview

The Safety Manager - 1 is a key member of the project team, responsible for leading and maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed job site on large-scale data center construction projects. This role ensures all phases of work—including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes—adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project expectations through active field presence, inspections, and enforcement of safety protocols. Operating in a fast-paced, high-risk environment, this position also supports safety documentation, subcontractor coordination, and promotes a strong safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and enforce site-specific safety programs in alignment with OSHA regulations and project requirements
  • Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and site inspections
  • Lead site orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety meetings
  • Monitor subcontractor safety performance and ensure accountability across all teams
  • Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation and ensure full regulatory compliance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all on-site safety matters
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • 3+ years of safety experience on large-scale construction projects
  • OSHA 30 certification required
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926 construction standards
  • Experience with data center or large-scale industrial projects preferred
  • Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example in the field
  • First Aid/CPR certification preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field
  • Ability to analyze safety data and trends to drive continuous improvement
  • Experience working on data center, mission-critical, or high-tech construction projects
