Job Summary
The Solutions Engineer serves as a technology expert for our prospects and customers. You'll partner with business leaders to uncover operational gaps, identify challenges, and design transformative technology solutions. Your expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, business applications, and RPA/AI will help shape technology strategies for companies looking to scale, modernize, and evolve.

Collaborating with sales teams and engineers, they conduct in-depth business assessments to align technology with organizational goals, delivering tailored solutions backed by industry-leading tools and expertise.

This role is pivotal in bridging technology and business strategy, ensuring clients achieve sustainable growth through innovative solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and continually refine knowledge of ourh products and services to answer customer questions and develop creative ways of meeting customer needs within the scope of existing product offerings.
  • Play a key role in the ONTRAC Sales Process including planning, solution refinement, and overall presentation of the final product in conjunction with business development
  • Lead discovery meetings to understand client operations, challenges, and conversion opportunities, introducing our Managed IT, Co-Managed IT, Cybersecurity, and Project Services Offerings
  • Present actionable recommendations to decision makers, translating complex technical details into business value
  • Align solutions with client goals in areas such as line of business application optimization, data analytics, AI-driven insights, and process redesign
  • Co-Own the Managed IT and Project Services pre-sales pipeline, achieving assigned metrics and ensuring delivery success with other Teams.
  • Assist in training sessions for sales teams to enhance their ability to identify qualified opportunities across IT, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation services.
  • Technology Solutions:
  • IT & Cloud Solutions: Network infrastructure, Azure services, cloud hosting, backup & recovery, mobility management, and vCIO consulting
  • Cybersecurity Solutions: MDR, ITDR, XDR, Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, disaster recovery, and GRC Services
  • Digital Transformation Solutions: Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Business Intelligence, AI-Strategy Consulting, and Change Management (future)

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, protocols, and infrastructure design.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including deployment and management.
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies like VMware, HyperV, Nutanix
  • Excellent analysis skills to evaluate client environments and recommend scalable solutions.
  • Proven track record in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the IT industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills for delivering product demos, training sessions, and technical consultations.


Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
