Job description

Position: Scrum Master
Duration: 12 Months (CTH)
Location: Plano, TX
W2 Position with 3 days in a week onsite role.
Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead an Agile, business facing development team to build, develop and support applications, tools, and services for the global operations team. Your team is multi-functional and includes Developers, Product Owner (PO) Solution Architects, Business Analysts, QA, etc.
  • Partner with business leaders, product owners and the operations community, to identify, prioritize and implement effective and efficient technology solutions, delivering business value.
  • Provide vision and leadership, resolve conflicts, and be a catalyst for creative, high-quality delivery within a collaborative, safe and high-performing team environment.
  • Care deeply about the technical side of operations to help ensure smooth running for our critical Authentication platform.
  • Drive the evaluation, adoption, management, and optimization of DevOps tooling (Jules pipeline, etc.)
  • Enjoy working in a varied and dynamic, bespoke technical landscape comprising of legacy monoliths to microservices.
  • Understand, appreciate, and be able to implement Agile frameworks, metrics-based development, CADEF reviews, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Be an active member of the IT development community.
  • Be opened to change and a strong advocate for new technology and methods.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external vendors strategic partners.

Experience:
  • 10 years of experience with general IT Project Management processes.
  • 5 years of skilled in working on agile projects utilizing scrum.
  • 5 years of skilled in facilitating meetings (daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective)
  • 5 years of skilled in managing risks and issues.
  • 5 years of skilled in conflict resolution and removing team impediments.
  • 5 years of skilled in coaching agile practices to team member and business unit stakeholders.
  • Possess strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users including executive staff.
  • 5 years of skilled in agile estimating, planning and forecasting.
  • 5 years of skilled in creating communication channels between the team, product owner and stakeholder.
  • 3-5 years of experienced in establishing a sprint backlog.
  • PMP and CSM certifications

Preferred Skills:
  • Expertise in Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and passwordless authentication technologies and products.
  • Experience with cryptography, encryption and related data protection concepts and technologies.
  • Experience with data modelling and both LDAP and relational data schema design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory and privacy requirements as they relate to financial services enterprises.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD automation tools and test-automation and test-driven-development.
