Remote Technical Reviewers often use digital collaboration tools such as email, shared document platforms, and project management software to communicate with authors and editorial staff. Regular virtual meetings are common to discuss feedback, clarify technical points, and ensure alignment on review standards. Clear written communication and timely responses are key, as much of the interaction does not happen in real time. This structure allows Technical Reviewers to maintain strong professional relationships and effectively contribute to the quality of technical content, even when working from different locations.

To thrive as a Technical Reviewer (Remote), a strong background in the relevant technical domain, critical analysis, and attention to detail are essential, often supported by a degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Job description

Ready for more than another busy season?

A growing CPA firm is seeking an experienced Remote Tax Supervisor to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients, mentoring staff, and playing an active role in the success of both the tax practice and the people around them.

This isn't a role where you'll simply review returns and move on to the next file. You'll have the opportunity to build relationships with business owners and high-net-worth individuals, provide thoughtful tax guidance, and help develop the next generation of tax professionals. The firm values collaboration, communication, and initiative, giving experienced professionals the ability to make a meaningful impact while maintaining the flexibility of a remote schedule.

The work includes a broad mix of tax engagements involving individuals, partnerships, S corporations, corporations, and trusts and estates. In addition to compliance, you'll have exposure to planning opportunities, research projects, and complex tax matters that require both technical knowledge and practical problem-solving.

The ideal candidate has several years of public accounting experience and has grown into a leadership role through reviewing returns, managing deadlines, and serving as a trusted resource for both clients and team members. A CPA license is preferred, but experienced EAs and CPA candidates with strong public accounting backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.

This opportunity offers the chance to join a firm that values its people, provides direct access to leadership, and offers a clear path for continued advancement. Whether you're a seasoned Tax Supervisor looking for a long-term home or a Tax Senior ready to step into leadership, this could be the next step you've been working toward.

If you're interested in exploring a fully remote opportunity where your experience is valued and your career can continue to grow, we'd love to connect.
