What You’ll Do
As a Quality Manager, you’ll provide leadership, guidance, and direction for all quality assurance activities at the Terre Haute ELS facility. You’ll help ensure customer expectations are met while driving operational excellence, process improvement, and compliance with global quality standards in an automotive-focused manufacturing environment.


In this role, you will:

  • Promotes and follows company policy, supports upper management decisions and company directions, and able to confidently address issues that may arise.
  • Demonstrates energy, vision and passion for achievement under demanding time schedules. 
  •  Able to interact with all levels of the organization, as well as customers and suppliers alike, while exhibiting a professional manner.
  • Aware and 'in tune' with global quality requirements.
  • Takes ownership and responsibility for all quality matters.
  • Responsible for all aspects of quality education and development throughout the operation.
  • Has overall supervisory responsibility for the quality system. 
  • Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
  • Ensures problems are addressed in a timely and efficient manner, regardless of when they occur. 
  • Promotes and encourages team cohesiveness. 
  • Maintains constructive and positive working relationships with team members and ensures a positive work environment in general.
  • Ensures Team Members are involved in, and help to improve, KPI’s. Takes ownership of achieving KPI targets.
  • Holds self and reports accountable to follow company policy and procedures
  • Coaches and mentors direct reports to develop their knowledge, skills, and understanding of the automotive quality process.
  • Ensures compliance with required ENTEK Global quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Understands the importance, leads in the development and updating of quality processes.
  • Manages third party audits (IATF, VDA, Customer, Supplier).
  • Participates in decisions regarding budgets for Quality (both minor expenditures and capital investments).
  • Consults with Human Resources Department, as appropriate.

Requirements:What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a strong quality leader with automotive manufacturing experience, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to lead high-performing teams in a dynamic production environment.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience:


  • Associate’s degree (2-year minimum) and a minimum of 5 years prior experience in a quality position in an Automotive Manufacturing Environment.
  • Competence with AIAG Core Tools, IATF and VDA. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations 
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions to then develop reasonable solutions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. 
  • Familiarity with chemicals, work instructions, and safety procedures. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple disciplines simultaneously
  • Proven managerial/supervisory skills of providing leadership of value-added and highly motivated teams
  • Able to communicate in an accurate and concise manner; good verbal and written skills

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Science
  • 10 years’ experience in a strong automotive quality role
  • Korean or Japanese language proficiency


Critical technical, professional, and personal capabilities:


  • Ability to understand and communicate in conversational English, including following verbal and written direction. 
  • Competency in PDF and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Able to use Minitab or similar statistical software for data analyses and reporting.


Your Work Schedule

This is a full-time, exempt position with working hours based on operational needs. Occasional travel may be required.
