Job description

Position Summary

We are looking for a Hybrid Production Operator (Packaging) to join our Packaging Production team.

This role sits at the intersection of packaging artwork production and prepress operations, ensuring packaging files are accurately prepared, validated and released for production. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Production Artists, Printers and Client teams to support the delivery of high-quality packaging assets across multiple FMCG brands and markets.

The position requires a strong eye for detail, an understanding of packaging production processes, and the ability to balance technical accuracy with operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review and amend packaging artwork files for production.
  • Perform preflight checks and technical validation of artwork before release.
  • Ensure compliance with brand guidelines, printer specifications and packaging requirements.
  • Verify technical elements including dielines, bleeds, overprints, barcodes, colour separations and print specifications.
  • Support the adaptation and versioning of packaging artwork across multiple SKUs, languages and markets.
  • Review proofs and assist in quality control processes throughout the packaging lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Clients, Printers and Production teams to resolve technical issues and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and production records within internal systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to artwork, prepress and packaging production workflows.
  • Contribute to the successful delivery of packaging projects for leading FMCG brands.

Requirements โ€“ Experience & Technical SkillsEssential
  • Experience in Packaging Artwork, Production Artwork, Prepress, Graphic Chain (Chaรฎne Graphique) or Packaging Production environments.
  • Good understanding of packaging production and print processes.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience preparing and validating production-ready artwork files.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
  • Experience working with FMCG brands and packaging projects.
  • Knowledge of colour management, proofing and print production workflows.
  • Understanding of flexographic, offset or gravure printing processes.
  • Experience with artwork management systems and workflow tools.
