Job description

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant. This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, building strong client relationships, and leading projects that make a tangible difference in communities.

Duties:
  • Primary contact for municipal water and wastewater clients, managing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Lead water and wastewater facility projects from planning through construction.
  • Conduct visits to assess conditions, troubleshooting issues and ensure alignment between design and operations.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, and clients informed.
  • Oversee junior engineers, CAD staff, and technical team members.
  • Prepare and oversee planning/design reports, specifications, and permit applications.
  • Coordinate across disciplines to deliver integrated project solutions.
  • Lead bid phase services, including review of biding documents, RFIs, and contractor coordination.

Requirements
  • You have 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • At least 3-5 years managing scope, schedule, budget, and client interaction on projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) in PA or have the ability to obtain your license.
  • Experience leading municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Good communication skills specifically explaining technical concepts for clients, regulators, and internal staff.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities at one time.
