This position plays a key role in coordinating project activities, synthesizing findings, and ensuring high-quality execution across a portfolio of Kentucky public health analytical programs.
About the RoleThe Technical Project Specialist II will help manage progress, deliverables, and communication across several research and infrastructure-building projects. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex discussions into actionable plans and supporting multidisciplinary teams.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring project activities align with broader program goals
  • Tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, and cross-project interactions
  • Synthesizing findings across research efforts to identify gaps, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinating communication, responsibilities, and deliverables across multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting timeline management and producing data-driven reports
  • Documenting decisions, action items, and technical requirements during meetings
  • Assisting leadership with strategic decision-making and program adjustments
