Role:Project Manager

Location: Waukegan, IL (Chicago Area) – Onsite
Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation through implementation and closeout. The PM will serve as the primary project contact, coordinating cross-functional teams, business and technical stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects through the complete lifecycle, including planning, execution, implementation, and closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, status reports, and project documentation.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular updates on progress, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies; develop mitigation and corrective-action plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional business, technical, operational, and functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, challenges, recommendations, and outcomes to leadership.
  • Coordinate external vendors and third-party partners, including schedules, commitments, deliverables, and performance.
  • Review project deliverables for quality, accuracy, completeness, and alignment with requirements.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance and recommend solutions to complex business and operational challenges.
  • Support technology implementations, system integrations, business transformation, process improvement, and other enterprise initiatives as applicable.
  • Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on project needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in applicable technical, functional, operational, or project management areas.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives and are completed on time and within approved scope.
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years of project/program management or related experience.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential.
  • Experience managing complex, enterprise-wide projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies and project management tools.
  • Experience working with vendors, consultants, and third-party partners.
  • Knowledge of technology implementations, systems integrations, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise within a specialized technical or functional area.
