Position Summary:

This Technical Applications Group (TAG) position is responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless delivery of strategic end-to-end Innovation and Renovation projects in Nestle USA as well as managing cross-functional project teams, with an entrepreneurial mindset and passion for operational excellence, to achieve the project defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the business needs. Promote the Ideation to Launch (I2L) Mindset.

Primary Responsibilities:

Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-time, on-scope and on quality delivery of the project with flawless execution from concept to close.

Lead the alignment of the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project with key stakeholders.

Preventive management of roadblocks and generation of risk mitigation plans.

Build and manage the project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed-upon deadlines, generate and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues.

Coordinate and facilitate project meetings including kick-off meetings, project team meetings, risk assessments, financial reviews, lessons learned, post-launch reviews, and additional meetings as required.

Provide transparency and communication on project status and risks to cross-functional team members and Project Management Lead.

Effectively control scope changes through proactive and open communication with stakeholders

Responsible for the consistent application, execution, and continuous improvement of Nestle's I&R processes and tools.

Maintain and ensure data accuracy, deliverable completion, and documentation as specified by relevant policies and procedures across assigned projects.

Meet established key performance indicators (KPIs) and other program metrics.

Responsible for making and ensuring the implementation of process improvements.

Project Team Leadership

Facilitate and coach to enhance the interaction and collaboration of cross-functional teams to drive projects forward

Contribute to training and coaching in project management within the TAG PMO team

Demonstrate courage and initiative to influence stakeholders with integrity and manage expectations

Comfortable leading discussions and communicating within project teams

Embrace details and ambiguity while keeping a general view to reduce complexity and to strive for rapid but informed management decisions

Qualifications

Requirements & Minimum Education Level

Minimum BA/BS required

PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification a plus

Experience

5 years experience in project management

5 years of cross-functional experience preferred. Such as Engineering, Operations, Technical Applications Group, Research & Development, Marketing or related experience preferred
