  • Assist in leading and managing the project team and representing the firm to the client.
  • Assume increased level of responsibility for leading, motivating, and providing a team environment for the project team members by inspiring a shared vision, enabling others to act, taking risks, and assuming ultimate responsibility for the team's actions, exercising good judgment, and continually increasing people skills.
  • Articulate and communicate the client's vision, goals, and objectives through development of the project work plan during the planning phase.
  • Manage project schedule and budget and communicate status through staffing discussions; provide updates to operation through project management software.
  • Coordinate response to client questions and concerns and follow-up regularly with the client.

Experience:

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of architectural experience and at least one (1) year of recent project management experience with large-scale facilities required.
  • Experience with one of Flad's market segmentsย preferred.ย ย 
  • Excellent client management and leadership skills required.
  • Superior technical and presentation skills and a commitment to design excellence essential.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field required.
  • Professional registration preferred.
  • Sustainability accreditation preferred.
