As a Project Manager at Opensity Solutions, you will serve as the single point of accountability to the client for project outcomes. You will own the client relationship, scope, commitments, and overall success of assigned projects - including infrastructure upgrades, client onboarding, acquisitions, and ServiceNow development. This role requires strong client relationship management, strategic project leadership, and exceptional communication skills to drive cross-functional teams toward successful, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

Location: Remote in Ontario/Alberta

Compensation: CAD 100,000- 110,000 per annum

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities for this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as primary client contact and relationship owner, acting as the single voice to the client.

  • Lead all client meetings, workshops, steering committees, and governance forums.

  • Manage client expectationsregardingscope, timeline, risks, and deliverables.

  • Communicate status, risks, issues, and change requests clearly and proactively.

  • Own executive-level escalations and drive resolutions with urgency and transparency.

Scope, Planning & Decision Ownership

  • Own project scope,objectives, and success criteria in alignment with client and organizational strategy.

  • Maintain the master project plan and milestone commitments, confirming priorities with the client.

  • Approve priorities, sequencing, and trade-off decisions thatimpactdelivery timelines or scope.

  • Own and enforce change control processes, including change order negotiations with the client.

  • Holdfinalapproval authority for all deliverables prior to client submission.

Governance, Reporting & Risk Management

  • Own the final status reporting delivered to the client, includingmessaging arounddelays or risks.

  • Prepare, review, edit, and contextualizedeliverymetrics, RIDAC logs, and forecasts.

  • Decide mitigation strategies fordeliveryrisks and issue.

  • Manage executive-level escalations and ensure compliance with PMO standards and governance requirements.

Financial & Commercial Management

  • Own project budget, forecasts, and overall financial performance.

  • Approve invoicing inputs and track commercial health of assigned projects.

  • Lead change order discussions and client negotiations for scope or cost adjustments.

  • Ensure contract compliance across all project deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS& REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of technical project delivery experience with direct client-facing responsibility.

Experience leading implementations of general technology services, including but not limited to:

  • Microsoft Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions (Azure, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, etc.)

  • Document Management Systems (iManage, NetDocuments, etc.)

  • Virtualization Platforms (VMware, Nutanix, etc.)

  • Data Storage, Backup, and Disaster Recovery

  • Security Operations and Compliance (SOC2, ISO audits, etc.)

  • Datacenter migration, circuits installation

  • Enterprise and Solution Integration

  • Firm merger and acquisition integration.

  • Experience managing projects with offshore/nearshore delivery teams and structured handoff cadences across time zones.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fieldrequired.

Credentials / Certifications

  • PMP certificationpreferred.

  • Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Master)a plus.

  • ITIL certificationa plus.
