Technical Project Coordinator

Location: Plano, TX

Pay: $23/hr


Overview

The Technical Project Coordinator supports our cleint's installation, upgrade, professional services, and remediation projects. This individual serves as the primary point of coordination on the day of service, working closely with field technicians, project managers, dispatch teams, vendors, and customers to ensure successful project execution.

The role is responsible for managing activities from technician dispatch through project completion, ensuring work is completed on schedule, meets technical requirements, and delivers a positive customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own day-of-job coordination from technician dispatch through work order completion and technician release.
  • Conduct pre-dispatch readiness checks with field technicians to confirm:
  • Arrival times
  • Project scope understanding
  • Required materials and equipment
  • Site access requirements
  • Technical readiness
  • Provide real-time operational and technical support to field technicians during installations and service events.
  • Track technician progress and project milestones throughout the installation lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary communication point between field teams, customers, project managers, vendors, and leadership.
  • Provide hourly project status updates in Smartsheet, ILEX, and other designated platforms.
  • Ensure all required project documentation, test results, photos, and supporting records are complete and uploaded within 24 hours of project completion.
  • Verify all deliverables meet project and customer requirements before closing work orders.
