Responsibilities for Technical Project Manager include but are not limited to:
ยท Work cross-functionally with other security teams, project managers and engineers to implement security and compliance controls within features their teams are creating.
ยท Ability to drive security or compliance focused projects across the organization and with external partners.
ยท Develop a broad perspective across the application ecosystem in order to support multiple security and compliance projects.
ยท Be the communicator! Everyone on the project knows what is going on. You are comfortable speaking to groups and can clearly and effectively present one-pagers, POCs, and architectural overviews.
ยท Establish ownership and accountability by tracking internal and external requirements alike, while handling roadblocks to ensure program deliverables arrive on time using your deep project management toolkit
ยท Build relationships with key internal and external partners to influence their systems' security posture.
Candidates for Technical Project Manager must meet the following requirements to be considered:
ยท Self-starter with 4+ yearsโ experience as a project manager within a software development team (internet applications as well as iOS applications).
ยท Ability to synthesize complex problems and technical concepts and communicate across various levels of the organization, including executive.
ยท Willing to dig into the details and understand the customer impact of different APIs, error codes, and product verticals.
ยท Ability to establish relationships across business, engineering & leadership teams.
ยท Able to closely collaborate with numerous cross functional teams
ยท Strong project management fundamentals and ability to adapt rapidly and continue to make progress even when ambiguity levels are high.
Education & Experience
ยท Degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.
ยท Training in project management or equivalent work experience is highly desirable.
ยท Financial Technology, Dev/Ops, SRE, Datacenter experience is a plus
ยท Familiarity with secure design and software development concepts including OWASP Top 10, Common Criteria, EMVCo and PCI security standards
