As a Senior Technical Program Manager at Axon, you will lead the delivery of complex, enterprise-scale deployments for our Strategic Enterprise customers that operate around the globe. You'll own programs end-to-end-partnering with customers, product, engineering, and delivery teams to translate complex requirements into clear plans and successful outcomes.
This role operates in high-visibility, mission-critical environments where priorities evolve and judgment matters. You'll bring structure to ambiguity, maintain composure under pressure, and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders-balancing customer needs, product capabilities, and long-term scalability.
Success in this role comes from a strong sense of ownership, disciplined execution, and a genuine connection to Axon's mission to protect life. If you thrive on solving complex problems at scale and delivering technology that makes a real-world impact, this role is for you.
Axon's Enterprise customers depend on technology that works in high-stakes, real-world environments. This role ensures complex, multi-product deployments are delivered reliably, adopted successfully, and scaled with confidence.
As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you sit at the intersection of customer trust, execution, and mission impact-turning complexity into clarity and ensuring Axon's technology delivers when it matters most.

What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-scale programs for Strategic and Global customers, driving execution from planning through deployment, acceptance, and adoption.
  • Lead multiple high-impact programs simultaneously, maintaining disciplined control over scope, timeline, dependencies, and risk in dynamic environments.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer and regulatory requirements into executable delivery plans, making informed tradeoffs when constraints arise.
  • Serve as a trusted program lead for customers and internal stakeholders-bringing clarity, confidence, and calm leadership in high-stakes situations.
  • Drive alignment across Sales, PSO, Engineering, Product, and external partners, ensuring teams are focused on the work that matters most.
  • Anticipate risks and constraints early, surface them clearly, and act decisively to mitigate issues before they impact delivery or customer trust.
  • Lead program-level change management, adapting plans as requirements evolve while maintaining momentum and accountability.
  • Communicate complex technical and operational topics with precision-tailoring messaging for executive, technical, and frontline audiences.
  • Champion continuous improvement by identifying delivery gaps, refining processes, and helping scale repeatable, enterprise-ready execution models.
  • Contribute to a team-first culture by mentoring peers, sharing lessons learned, and raising the bar for program execution across the organization.
What You BringExperience & Skills
  • 10+ years of experience leading complex technical programs in enterprise SaaS, hardware-enabled platforms, or mission-critical environments.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, multi-stakeholder deployments for enterprise or global customers.
  • Program management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, risk, dependency, and change management.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Services to drive aligned execution.
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, making sound decisions without complete information.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive, technical, and customer audiences.
  • Demonstrated capability managing multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining focus on priorities and outcomes.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a bias toward practical, scalable solutions.
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that improve delivery quality and customer outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience; PMP certification preferred.
  • Successfully lead complex, enterprise-scale programs for Strategic and Global customers with predictable, high-quality delivery.
  • Operate with ownership and sound judgment, bringing clarity and calm to ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
  • Builds trust with customers and cross-functional partners through clear communication, proactive risk management, and consistent execution.
  • Navigates change effectively while maintaining momentum and alignment across teams.
  • Contributes to scalable delivery practices and raises the bar for program execution across the organization.
