Role Summary

The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing, guiding, and delivering AI and generative AI strategies and implementation initiatives within Steel Point. This role focuses on driving organic growth, fostering innovation, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Steel Point's business objectives. The Program Manager will manage budgets, ensure timely project delivery, and engage with stakeholders to promote the adoption of AI technologies.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive AI and generative AI strategies aligned with Steel Point's goals and growth objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple AI projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with C-suite leaders, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for AI initiatives.
  • Change Management: Facilitate organizational change by promoting the adoption of AI technologies and processes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to track the progress and success of AI and generative AI initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of AI professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Organic Growth Initiatives: Identify opportunities for organic growth through AI enhancements and process improvements and implement strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • 7+ years of experience in AI project management, technology modernization, or related fields.
  • Certifications:
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale AI projects, preferably within a government or enterprise environment.
  • Experience with AI technologies, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
  • Experience in identifying and driving organic growth initiatives.
  • Candidate Must have an Active Top Secret SCI Poly Clearance 

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Relevant AI/ML certifications from recognized institutions (e.g., Coursera, edX, Google AI) are a plus
