Redfin is looking for a passionate leader to drive security, compliance, and reliability programs across our engineering organization. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will own projects that impact all of engineering, including security initiatives, infrastructure reliability, and compliance programs.
About the Role
  • Own quarterly planning, roadmap development, and program execution across infrastructure engineering, translating priorities into milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Compute, Database, Streaming, Networking, and Cloud Governance teams to identify risks, remove blockers, and drive cross-team execution.
  • Partner with the security team to define and roll out security, risk, and compliance programs across the company.
  • Establish clear visibility into commitments, progress, risks, and tradeoffs; report up to engineering and senior leadership, and turn infrastructure requirements into clear asks for feature teams.
  • Improve the operating mechanisms and cross-functional coordination needed to deliver complex infrastructure and security initiatives, driving alignment across teams outside of infrastructure.

About You
  • 7+ years of technical program management, engineering program management, or comparable experience leading complex technical programs.
  • Experience driving large-scale infrastructure, cloud, platform, or security initiatives across multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong technical fluency in modern infrastructure concepts, with the ability to engage deeply with engineers, understand dependencies, and challenge technical plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build roadmaps, manage competing priorities and dependencies, and drive execution in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating risks, tradeoffs, and program status to senior leadership.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with AWS or other large-scale public cloud environments and technologies such as databases, Kubernetes/compute platforms, networking, streaming, or cloud governance.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity, information security, risk, audit, or regulatory compliance programs.
  • Experience working in regulated environments or with systems handling sensitive consumer, financial, or business data.
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology integrations, acquisitions, or organizational transformations.
  • Technical background in infrastructure engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or security engineering.
