Job description

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Technical Support Management (TSM) Specialist to support the U.S. Coast Guard Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Program Resident Office (PRO). This role will provide technical support, deficiency tracking, and records management support across shipbuilding, production, and trial activities in a fast-paced acquisition environment.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks and Duties:
  • Provide Technical Support Management (TSM) system support for deficiency tracking and production activities associated with OPC construction and testing
  • Manage and track deficiency records, electronic trial cards, and corrective action documentation across shipbuilding and production environments
  • Support database management, reporting systems, and production tracking tools to ensure accurate and timely status updates
  • Coordinate with Government personnel, shipbuilder teams, engineering, QA, and logistics stakeholders during dock trials, builder's trials, acceptance trials, and related production events
  • Maintain tracking systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to monitor deficiency status, production progress, and corrective actions
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and status updates to support program leadership and decision-making
  • Support action item tracking, issue resolution, and documentation of technical deficiencies and production challenges
  • Assist in identifying trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement within production and deficiency tracking systems
  • Support surge activities during ship trials and periods of high operational tempo
  • Ensure documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with program requirements and Government standards

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Experience supporting technical records management, deficiency tracking, or production support systems
  • Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, trackers, and reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of data and technical information
  • Ability to coordinate across engineering, QA, logistics, and production teams
  • Experience supporting shipbuilding, manufacturing, production, or technical program environments preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for tracking and reporting
  • Familiarity with Government TSM systems and ETC tools preferred

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Substitution: At least six (6) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Active Secret clearance strongly preferred
  • Must be eligible for CAC access and pass DHS suitability/background investigation
