Job description

Technical Program Manager II

Onsite hybrid in Sunnyvale CA or Redmond WA


Summary:

The main function of a Technical Program Manager is to provide successful definition, implementation and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and interdependencies across a group of projects and/or related activities.


Responsibilities:

  • Build detailed execution plans. Oversight of scope definition and management aligned to requirements, time estimating, program schedule development and tracking, status reporting, issue and risk management, contingency planning, and communications across multiple organizational levels.
  • Lead cross-functional metric reviews to drive resolution of top technical issues and mitigate launch blockers.
  • Oversee crash triage by monitoring dashboards, analyzing data, and maintaining rigorous stability tracking.
  • Manage release readiness to ensure all software meets stability gates and key performance indicators.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for triage workflows and documentation of best practices.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Partner with Senior engineering and TPMs to define long-term strategy, roadmaps, and end-to-end plans for device system health.

  • Project estimating, project scheduling & tracking, customer interaction and management, implementation planning in large organizations
  • Proven people management and team building skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
  • Experience with software development lifecycle


Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
  • PMP or PMI certification


Pay range is $57 - $62 per hour with full benefits available, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, parental leave, and more. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
